The Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society and KU Leuven organized the ๐๐น๐ฒ๐
๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฒ (17โ19 ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ 2025), in collaboration with the BIONET Erasmus+ CBHE Consortium and was hosted by Universitรฉ Euro-Mรฉditerranรฉenne de Fรจs (Morocco).
๐งฌ๐ฌThirty participants from Ethiopia, DR Congo, Nigeria, Mauritania, Belgium, and Morocco joined a strong programme on genotoxicity, biomonitoring, and environmental health, including sessions on the exposome, human biomonitoring, genotoxicity assays, DNA repair biomarkers, scientific writing, and field research in low-income settings.
๐ค๐งชIt was complemented by a hands-on lab session and networking activities.
๐จโ๐ซ๐The course was facilitated by Dr. Manosij Ghosh (KU Leuven) with expert contributions from France, Belgium, Portugal, and the USA.

Two travel awards, supported by the EMGS Alexander Hollaender Outreach Committee, helped ensure broader participation and reduced financial barriers for early-career scientists.
